Where the Story Begins

We've been coming to Greer for over a decade — but we almost never found it. A close friend who'd been making the drive up SR 373 for years finally convinced us to come along. That first trip, the pines closed in around us, the air cooled, and the noise of everyday life just fell away. We were hooked before we even unpacked.

We kept coming back — for the fishing, the wildlife, the quiet mornings with a cup of coffee and nowhere to be. Over the years, Greer became less of a destination and more of a reset. The kind of place you find yourself thinking about in the middle of a long week. We'd stay at Greer Lodge Resort and love every minute of it — the character of the cabins, the way the pond caught the morning light, the feeling that you were somewhere genuinely apart from the rest of the world.

When the opportunity came to make one of those cabins our own, it felt like a chance to become part of a place that had given us so much over the years. We wanted to preserve everything that made it special — the pine ceilings, the rustic warmth, the sense of place — while thoughtfully adding the comforts that make a getaway truly relaxing.

A place where you can step outside and feel immersed in nature, then step back inside and feel completely at home. Fast Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the cozy glow of a fireplace. Not roughing it — just living well, somewhere beautiful.

That's the heart of Adorably Rustic Cabin. We've tried to create the kind of place we fell in love with all those years ago. Somewhere mornings move a little slower, the views never get old, and the hardest decision of the day might be whether to head out exploring or spend another hour on the deck.

Greer has been our place to reconnect, recharge, and make memories for more than a decade. We hope it becomes that kind of place for you, too.
